Collection: Ellen Taylor
Ellen lives on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. She is from the Cayuse, Umatilla, Walla Walla, Nez Perce and Ojibwa Tribes.
Ellen has expressed that her art " comes from visions, feelings, life, death, turmoil, new birth, and illness, relationships and the history of life.
The perfect balance comes from finding the time to articulate, create and balance, all or some of this into her busy life"
She is a renowned contemporary tribal artist and has exhibited in many places in Oregon. Her recent solo exhibition at the Warm Springs Museum "Sacred Reflections' was a great success that featured the original paintings of these prints sold online and at the Tananawit gift shop.
